EDIT:

Tomorrow, our story shall begin.

I have a list of people who will be participating. If you're not on it and want to join, now's the time to tell me!

-This isn't the order we'll be writing in, just the order I typed the names down-

1. Karrisa :iconsquare-watermelon:
2. Ray :iconrayawolf:
3. Salmon :iconsilver-salmon:
4. Bastard Fish :iconrandy-ghoti:
5. Annie :iconthebluberry:
6. Quin :iconquinlinn:
7. Viv :iconpatchvvork:
8. Taiga-chan :icontoradora5683:
9. This idiot :iconavirextin:
10. :icondead-flame: (quite the poet)

If you want to drop out, or if you never wanted to be a part of this , just let me know. ^^;

Round Robin writing is something I adore, but haven't been able to really participate in for a while. I've tried to go about doing it with a brony group in my state, but the ball has been dropped, and I don't know where we stand on that. I want to do this for various reasons, but the main reason is for fun.

I'd like to have a bit more of an organized challenge among my friends, watchers, and their friends. This is mostly for fun, but also as a good writing exercise for those who love writing fiction. I'm actually kinda busy (busy as in I have a lot of work to do, but you know, procrastination) but it only takes 10 minutes to an hour max to participate. If you're not familiar with how a Round Robin story goes, here's the rundown:

Writer A starts the story off by writing the first portion of the story (it's usually an ambiguous or very vague intro, so it's easier for the second writer) and passes it on to the second writer. The second writer continues the story on, adding whatever personal flair to the story they please, then passes it to the third writer. This continues on to the last person, who has the daunting task of cleaning up everybody's mess in a conclusion. Thing is, the writer can only view the preceding writer's work before getting to work. This can cause a story to become a train wreck. A beautiful train wreck.

I'd like to have everyone who wants to do this listed by next week. I'll then put all our names in a random generator to see the order we go in. Each person will write no more than 6,000 words, no less than 1,000 words. (So that's not much. Gotta make it work.) They'll have two or three days to write, then we move on. I'll put the whole thing together, proof read it, and see if I can get an audio reading going.

Some people who I'd like to participate:

:iconrandy-ghoti: I remember reading an excerpt from you in the past. I'd love to have ya participate if possible, bud.
:iconjotunrunt: cause I miss you, babe (creepyvoice) and I remember you to be a good writer.
:icongyrin: your lovable characters are just inspiring. Get in here!
:iconthebluberry: cause of your dark sense of humor, and your successfully making me fall in love with one of your characters. (Oops. There goes my grammar.)
:iconmaygirl96: cause you've got great tastes
:iconsquare-watermelon: because we could use a song! Plus, if you add romance, it'd make the story more interesting. (I honestly don't have the heart to write my own romance, so write awaaaaay)
:iconsweet-kaitou: I dunno if you come on dA often enough to see this, but I'd love to see more of your writing!
:iconstarwarsfan1996: because we could use some science fiction, if you catch my drift
:iconpatchvvork: cause we could use some horror!
:icondracios: cause we can use that fine ass of yours. (Don't worry about grammar, I'll edit it.)
:iconrayawolf: dude... I'll let you add ANYTHING. This story can go to the moon! You're a great writer!
:icontoradora5683: Taiga-chan (I hardly ever use Japanese honorifics in English speech. You should feel honored.), you can also add WHATEVER YOU LIKE. Even if it makes you squeamish. ESPECIALLY IF IT MAKES YOU SQUEAMISH!
:iconarthur933: I don't even know you, dude, but your gallery is pretty cool, and it seems you like writing, so why not?!
:iconbigheaddevilcat: David, if you think you're ready for a master challenge, then THIS IS IT, BUD
:iconquinlinn: TELL THE CHAT, QUIN. TELL THEM WE'RE STARTING OVER. GET EVERYONE. GET SPENCE. GET GERARD. GET HAMA (only 50% llama) 'LOYCE' KENPACHI SAMA. HELL, GET AMANDA. GET ERRRRRRRYONE.
:iconkatmilo: Hi, Master Princess Teacher Kate. I'd like to cordially invite you to be a writer in this round robin event. If you cannot, that's cool, I was just wondering if you'd like to.
:iconloola-bean: I know you haven't been one in.... forever, but you're a writer I'd like to see in this event too.

If I didn't name you, that's because I saw that this list was getting long winded. ^^; If you want to participate, please do tell me.

Never asked this before, but sharing this journal so that other people can see would be nice. Imagine like... 50 writers. That'd be cool. Anymore than that though is too much.

Thanks for reading this

I don't really know what's lovable about my characters. To me they're just empty shells. They don't have a personality at all, I just draw them and I don't like that I do that. But I mean, they're just images currently, nothing actually living, is what i'm getting at. Metaphorically.
